You will configure a caching DNS Server using the instructions in the "Domain Name System" module. You shall configure either BIND or UnBound. However, you can configure both and ensure that only one of them is running at a time. That is because BIND and UnBound cannot both run at the same time.
Ensure that your DNS Server responds to a query on the IP Address of your Virtual Machine.
So if the IP Address of your server is 192.168.0.10, ensure you get a response when you run this command: dig @192.168.0.10 google.com
Note: Kindly replace the 192.168.0.10 with the respective IP address of you virtual servers. ( Just a reminder, to check the IP address of your VM run the ifconfig command on your server) That IP is just but an example.
dig @192.168.0.10 google.com (Replace 192.168.0.10 with your virtual server IP address)
Once you have completed the assignment and tested your server, simply input your server IP address here ( Eg: 192.168.0.10 )
This will allow the moderator to verify that your server is okay in order to receive the final grade.
